The Democratic Campaign To Pervert Words They Don't Like And Label Them As Racist

The Democratic Campaign To Pervert Words They Don't Like And Label Them As Racist

The breadth of the Democratic offensives against Trump agenda initiatives is stunning. The party favorite is calling anything they don’t like racist. You all know this; it’s par for the course for left-wingers. But now they’re retroactively applying that term to things that were never considered racist in the slightest.

“Chain migration” is a term demographers have used since the 1960s. It’s not a racist term, but the campaign to make it on the no-no list for political correctness is well underway. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) reiterated the talking point in her Monday appearance on The View (via Free Beacon):

"Do you agree with Nancy Pelosi when she says Trump wants to ‘Make America White Again' and that's what this is about?" Joy Behar asked, referring to comments the House Minority Leader (D., Calif.) made Friday.

"I think a lot of President Trump's rhetoric is racist. Let's be very clear: when someone uses the phrase chain migration … it is intentional in trying to demonize families, literally trying to demonize families and make it a racist slur," Gillibrand said.

Earlier this month, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) has mentioned how the term is offensive in the wake of the “s**thole remarks” fiasco that preceded the Democrats’ three-day government shutdown for illegal aliens. During negotiations on immigration between Democrats and Republicans, President Trump reportedly asked why we’re letting people from “s**thole” nations into the country. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) recently said the term sends tremors through people in her party. During the State of the Union, the boos were clearly heard when President Trump talked about reforming this part of our immigration policy; Pelosi, not wanting a Joe Wilson moment for her party, reportedly got out of her seat to settle her people down (via

The Hill):

Under the current broken system, a single immigrant can bring in virtually unlimited numbers of distant relatives," said Trump, prompting the audible Democratic reaction that could be heard loud and clear on television.

Trump did not appear to react to the boos and hisses.

Democrats had mostly remained quiet for the first hour of the speech, limiting their reactions to sporadic applause.

So, that’s how far left the Democratic Party has become on immigration, saying things are racist without any historical basis, just that they don’t like the term for some reason, and balking at a proposal that would have legalized one million more people than they were asking because of border security provisions. Heck, even The Washington Post editorial board thought the wall for DACA protections was a good deal.
