Senate Intelligence Committee Invites Comey To Testify On Russian Election Interference

Sens. Richard Burr (R-NC) and Mark Warner (D-VA), the respective chair and vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, have formally invited former FBI Director James Comey to testify on the ongoing investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence next Tuesday. Sen. Warner said the invite just went out. He hasn’t heard back from Mr. Comey, but hopes he makes the most of this opportunity. The hearing will be a closed session.
