.  Interestingly, Goldfarb reminds us that writers at The Atlantic (where Ambinder writes) were pushing the bogus and scurrilous Trig story.  The obvious question is whether or not Marc's credibility is on the line for that?  Of course, the answer is "no" -- but making that connection would be less absurd than implying we endorse the birth certificate rumor.  (In fairness, I seem to remember that, at the time, I wrote a post lamenting the fact that Andrew Sullivan was hurting the credibility of the entire organization ...).
