I'm on a conference call right now with Fred Thompson. I'll have some excerpts in a bit, but the one thing that strikes me immediately is how Thompson has eloquently described Obama as "in every way ... very typical" and a "young man in a hurry." While Obama portrays himself as a change-agent, Thompson argues he is, in fact, just the usual sort of self-interested politician.
