Does Sports Influence Culture & Politcs?

Most every 40-and-under white male I know is far more attuned to black culture than our parents' and grandparents' generations, and sports is a huge part of it.   

I'd go so far as to suggest that if, as the saying goes, 11 a.m. Sunday morning is the most segregated hour in America, 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, at least in the fall, are the most integrated.
