MSNBC just reported that, in a speech today, Barack Obama is expected to respond to Bill and Hillary's recent comments regarding his serving as Hillary's VP.  My guess is he will make a Shermanesque statement that categorically declines the "invitation."  It's in Hillary's strategic interest to imply she may pick Obama.  Of course, that hurts Obama's chances.  Obama needs to say to the Democratic voters -- it's all or nothing with me ...

Update:  Obama did speak about this today, but he essentially echoed what Amanda reported earlier.  He basically pointed out that he is the frontrunner, and that it is presumptions of her to act as if she's the frontrunner.  He also made the point that if she doesn't think he's ready to be president, then how could he possibly be vice president?
