Hastert to Endorse Romney

Former Speaker Dennis Hastert is set to publicly endorse Mitt Romney.  While this is good news for Romney, it should come as no surprise to those who follow politics.  As you'll recall, back in 2004, there was an interesting interview in which Hastert pretended not to know who John McCain was.  As CNN reported, the exchange went like this:

Hastert: "Who?"

Reporter: "John McCain."

Hastert: "Where's he from?"

Reporter: "He's a Republican from Arizona."

Hastert: "A Republican?"
