Deluded Dan Rather Anxious to Relive 2004 Humiliation in a Court Room

Be our guest, Dan:

A Manhattan judge tentatively gave the go-ahead Wednesday to Rather's explosive $70 million suit against CBS News, in which the newsman accused network bosses of sidelining him to make nice with the Bush administration.

"It puts us on the road to finding out what really happened involving a big corporation and powerful interests in Washington and their intrusion in the newsroom, which is the reason I'm here," Rather said.

John Edwards shouldn't have much to do by the time this actually goes to court, so I vote for having him defend Dan against "powerful corporate interests."
