Paul Fans Prep Ground for Conspiracy Theories

This is the text of a radio ad I've heard in New Hampshire about four times:
New Hampshire has the best primary system in the United States. About 40 percent of the polling places hand-count the ballots in public. But about 60 percent of the polling places process the ballots on an optical scanner Diebold computer.

The problem with the computer counted cities is the ballots are almost always hidden from the people on Election Day.

We are urging the cities using computers to also count the ballots in public at closing time, just like the rest of New Hampshire is doing. That way, if it's a close election, no one will have any doubts about the results.

For example, if Ron Paul wins in the hand-counted cities, would it make sense if he lost big in the computer-counted cities?

See our Watch the Vote half-page ad Sunday in the Manchester Union Leader. Please become a correspondent and help us report the results live on the Internet on primary night. Go to Liberty Broadcast Network.org.

I like the "example." Very coy about their allegiances, huh?

Every demographic has its various issues with how elections are run, but New Hampshire is a small state with a pretty good reputation for doing things the right way. Why undermine people's confidence in the election while purporting to help instill confidence. I admire the Paul supporters' enthusiasm, and they make a great sign-waving team, but whenever two or three of them shall come together in his name, there will be unnecessary conspiracy theories.

Update: TNR finds Paul's dirty laundry, in his newsletters of years past. And, by dirty, I mean "racist." Uh-oh.
