I'm going to the dedication of a wonderfully politically incorrect memorial on Capitol Hill this morning-- a monument to all those who have died under communism. Lee Edwards of The Heritage Foundation has worked tirelessly for years, through all the bureaucracy, to make sure that the leftists of D.C. are constantly reminded of the fate that awaits a society that decides it can be an egalitarian utopia.
"Yeah, good luck with that," the memorial will say to 20-something socialists that roam our capital.
The victims of communism are not the kind of victims our society delights in bringing attention to, but there have been many, many, many of them. May they all rest in peace. I'll be back with pictures and more.
