Is it bad that these things are already painful?

Brief opening thoughts:

Man, who is Mike Huckabee's writer? Good stuff. "I'm from the small town of Hope, Ark. You may have heard of it, and all I ask is for you to give us one more chance."

Also, what's the deal with CNN's mike problems? They had several throughout the Democratic debate, and tonight they're squeaking like a swarm of cicadas.

And, how many more shots do you think candidates will feel free to take at Bush tonight since his "don't want to do what's right for America" line?
