I read this op-ed in the Washington Post the other day. It's one of those that just turns me speechless with its stupidity. Want a taste? Here's the opening sentence:

The conservative politics of the Bush administration forced me to have an abortion I didn't want. Well, not literally, but let me explain.

But there's a better way to read this op-ed. Try out Freeman Hunt's version. Wicked and perfect-- Hey, Kids. I Didn't Think We Were Getting Enough Time Together, So I Killed Your Baby Brother.

Pro-choice or pro-life, I think we can all agree that Bush didn't make this woman get an abortion. Saying so just makes her cause into a caricature.
