Linking in Real Life

NYC bloggers got together for a non-specific, winter-time, holiday celebration last night, and this part of Suitably Flip's description cracked me up:

Every time I had a conversation with a blogger, I kept waiting for them to say something like, "You know who has something interesting to say about this topic? Stan. Here, let me point you out to Stan. But first, let me quote you a little sample of what he told me."

I love a good blogger party, but the first time anyone hears a pick-up line that involves the words "trackback to me, baby," we all have to go back to our computers-- immediately.

Ace, Karol of Alarming News, Pamela from Atlas Shrugs, and many other great reads were there.
