Every year, a new list of America’s best and worst cities comes out.
This year, the best-run cities in the United States include Provo, Utah, Nampa, Idaho, Dover Delaware, and Manchester, New Hampshire.
The best cities in America boast business growth, steady high school graduation rates, safety, and many other things, including road quality.
Predictably, the worst-run cities in America are all riddled with crime and run by Democrats.
And, the worst-run major city in America, according to WalletHub, is San Francisco, California.

WalletHub Financial Writer Adam McCann wrote an explainer for the study (via the New York Post):
“We can learn how well city officials manage and spend public funds by comparing the quality of the services residents receive against the city’s total budget,” WalletHub Financial Writer Adam McCann wrote to explain the study.
Each city was given a “Quality of Services’” score based on 36 metrics that were grouped into six service categories, including financial stability, education, health, safety, economy, and infrastructure and pollution. These were measured against the city’s per capita budget.
San Francisco’s former mayor, Gov. Gavin Newsom, has always been soft-on-crime and his policies have caused a mass exodus from the Golden State. This month, Newsom allowed violent protesters to destroy Los Angeles this month during anti-immigration enforcement protests. When President Trump called in the National Guard, Newsom said that he would sue the President for doing so.
Some of the other worst-run major cities named in WalletHub's study includ Detroit, Oakland, New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
Last year, Townhall reported on a study listing America’s safest and most dangerous cities and towns. To no surprise, the most dangerous cities and towns in America are run by Democrats.
