Melania Trump Tried to Donate to a University to Help Foster Kids. Here's What Happened.

Over the years, former first lady Melania Trump has experienced intense pushback and “cancel culture” for her affiliation to the former president, Donald Trump.

For example, in 2021, Vogue featured first lady Jill Biden on its cover. For years, the prominent magazine snubbed Melania Trump, who is a model. Before this, former first lady Michelle Obama was on the cover of Vogue multiple times.

This week, Melania Trump revealed that she has experienced backlash in other areas of her life. Even in one case, where she tried to donate money to a cause.

In a recent interview with Fox News, Melania Trump revealed that she tried to donate to a university for scholarships for foster care children. The university rejected her donation.

“Because of the board directors, they called back, they found out that it was me [donating the money]. They didn’t…they said, ‘We cannot go on.’ It was very very sad. Because, who suffered? They were children from foster communities. They didn’t have a scholarship that somebody would provide for them. They [the university] didn’t want to do business with me because of political affiliation, my political beliefs. And, that…was one of the ‘canceling’ projects,” she said.

Leftists have continued to attack Melania Trump, even after her husband was nearly assassinated twice.

Last week, Townhall covered how “The View’s” Sunny Hostin said that former first lady Melania Trump “hates” her husband and “wants to take him out.”

“I think she hates him. That’s a given,” Hostin said of Melania Trump on the show. A couple of the co-hosts can be heard agreeing with her.

“I also think that she wants to take him out,” she added. “She does not want to be the first lady anymore. She doesn’t want to be the first lady. She destroyed the rose garden. Who hates Christmas? Melania Trump hates Christmas. She doesn’t want to decorate for Christmas…she doesn’t want to sleep in the same room with him. She can’t tolerate him,” Hostin said, before joking that Melanie Trump “told her” all these awful things.
