This month, an illegal alien from El Salvador was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and first-degree rape of Rachel Morin, 37, a mother-of-five in Maryland.
Morin was last seen on August 5, 2023 after going for a hike on the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air, Maryland. When she never returned, she was reported missing.
The following day, authorities were alerted that a body had been discovered on the trail. It was Morin’s. Her death was determined to be a homicide. The DNA from the crime scene matched the DNA to an assault and home invasion in Los Angeles from earlier that year by an illegal alien.
Now, a report has indicated that an illegal alien from Ecuador who was caught and released at the border last year was arrested in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old girl.
According to Syracuse.com, the illegal, Jhon Moises Chacaguasay-Ilbis, killed and buried the woman in a shallow grave about 15 feet back from trees at Lincoln Park in Syracuse, prosecutor Alphonse Williams said. The illegal was residing at an Airbnb near the park (via Syracuse.com):

Chacaguasay-Ilbis had travelled to Central New York last week to meet the woman, Joselyn Jhoana Toaquiza, for her birthday on Tuesday, June 18, Williams told syracuse.com | The Post-Standard. People have told prosecutors that the two had gone to primary school together in their home country of Ecuador, Williams said.
Chacaguasay-Ilbis can be seen walking into the Airbnb at 916 Hawley Ave. around 4:20 p.m. June 18 with Toaquiza, according to surveillance video the property owner shared with family and police.
Three hours later, the video shows him carrying Toaquiza on his back, with her arms and legs wrapped around him. She appears limp and doesn’t move. It’s not possible to tell if she’s alive.
Chacaguasay-Ilbis later returned to his Airbnb and left with new clothes on. He got into a Lyft and then went to a Greyhound station and boarded a bus en route to New York City. Williams said that the Airbnb owner told police that there was blood in the home.
Toaquiza was reported missing around 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, June 19 by her family before her body was found around 11:40 a.m. Saturday at the park.
Chacaguasay-Ilbis has been charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse. He was booked in jail on Wednesday after he turned himself in (via Syracuse.com):
It is not clear what he had been doing for the past week, if he is employed or where he resides, Williams said.
Chacaguasay-Ilbis travelled to the United States last year and surrendered himself at the border, Williams said. He was released, Williams said, and may be applying for asylum.

This is the latest in a slew of crimes that appear to be perpetrated by illegal aliens.
This month, an illegal immigrant from Ecuador was arrested in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl New York City at a park in broad daylight.
Townhall covered how the 25-year-old illegal immigrant, Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, was taken into custody on Tuesday. Charges against him are pending. He reportedly entered the United States in 2021.
The illegal alien admitted in court to recording the attack as he became more “comfortable” during it.
In Houston, Texas, two illegal aliens were arrested in connection with the murder of a 12-year-old girl named Jocelyn Nunagary. Both suspects had their bail set at $10 million. The two illegals reportedly lured the girl under a bridge and assaulted her for hours before she was killed.
In Albany, New York, an illegal alien from Turkey was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl.
