There’s only one way President Trump could possibly win re-election, according to Joe Biden—by postponing the Nov. 3 contest.
“Mark my words, I think he is gonna try to kick back the election somehow, come up with some rationale why it can't be held," Biden said during an online fundraising event on Thursday.
"Imagine threatening not to fund the post office. Now, what in God’s name is that about? Other than trying to let the word out that he’s going to do all he can to make it very hard for people to vote," Biden said. "That’s the only way he thinks he can possibly win.”
Later in the event Biden said, “You can be assured, between [Trump] and the Russians, there is going to be an attempt to interfere."

President Trump has never suggested delaying the general election. Rather, he has insisted it take place as usual, with voters heading to the polls. The president has also pushed back on Democratic efforts for mail-in voting, saying it’s rife with corruption.
“I think a lot of people cheat with mail in voting. I think people should vote with ID, voter ID. I think voter ID is very important and the reason they don’t want voter ID is because they intend to cheat,” Trump said at a recent press briefing. “It should be you go to a booth and you proudly display yourself. You don’t send it in the mail where people pick up. All sorts of bad things can happen by the time they sign that, if they sign that, if they sign that, by the time it gets in and it’s tabulated. No, it shouldn’t be mailed in. You should vote at the booth and you should have voter ID. Because when you have voter ID, that’s the real deal.”
