Trump Calls Out 'Sleazy' Adam Schiff, 'Beleaguered' AG Jeff Sessions in Monday Morning Tweetstorm

President Trump took to Twitter early Monday morning to decry the ‘swamp,’ Democrats, his own attorney general, and the ongoing Russia investigations.

Trump started off by acknowledging that he was wrong about how bad the swamp really is—it should be called a “sewer,” he said.

“Drain the Swamp should be changed to Drain the Sewer - it's actually much worse than anyone ever thought, and it begins with the Fake News!” he wrote.

He then turned his attention to Russia, the Democrats, and his own “beleaguered” attorney general.

“After 1 year of investigation with Zero evidence being found, Chuck Schumer just stated that "Democrats should blame ourselves, not Russia,” he said.

“So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?”

The denunciation of Sessions comes after Trump publicly criticized him last week for recusing himself from the Russia meddling investigation, going so far as to say he regrets making him attorney general.

The president then singled out Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee.

“Sleazy Adam Schiff, the totally biased Congressman looking into "Russia," spends all of his time on television pushing the Dem loss excuse!” he said.

Schiff told CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday that Trump is concerned special counsel Robert Mueller is looking into his finances.

“The president is clearly worried that Bob Mueller's going to be looking into allegations, for example, that the Russians may have laundered money through the Trump organization,” Schiff told host John Dickerson. “That is really something in my opinion he needs to look at. Because what concerns me the most is anything that could be held over the president's head that could influence U.S. policy.”

Finally, Trump then commented on healthcare and said Republicans have one last chance to repeal and replace Obamacare.

“Republicans have a last chance to do the right thing on Repeal & Replace after years of talking & campaigning on it,” he said.
