Trump: 'Nobody Has Been Able to Show Any Proof' of Russian Collusion

President Trump reached out to his followers on Twitter Friday morning pointing out that after months of investigations into allegations of Russian collusion, there has not been any evidence thus far.

“After 7 months of investigations & committee hearings about my “collusion with the Russians,” nobody has been able to show any proof. Sad!” he wrote.

He then spoke of how he can go around the mainstream message to speak to the American people directly.

“The Fake News Media hates when I use what has turned out to be my very powerful Social Media - over 100 million people! I can go around them,” he tweeted.

The messages come after reports this week that the special counsel is investigating Trump over possible obstruction of justice. A separate report also said aide Jared Kushner's finances and business dealings are being closely examined.
