CNN Actually Calls Out Gov. Terry McAuliffe For Spreading Fake News

The story about Republicans celebrating the passage of the American Health Care Act with cases of beer turned out to be totally false, but that didn’t stop Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe from spreading the story during a recent interview on CNN.

Fortunately CNN’s John Berman called him out for it. 

McAuliffe made similar comments on CNN’s “New Day,” however the network’s online reporting did not correct the Democratic governor for saying Republicans had “a big beer party celebrating what they did.”
