Cardi B, who revealed her pregnancy live on Saturday Night Live recently, gave an interview Monday where she explained that she “didn’t want to deal with” abortion and expressed disgust with those critical of her pregnancy.

“Did you ever think about not having the baby?” a host of “The Breakfast Club" asked.

“Kind of, sort of and then again it’s just like no, I just didn’t want to deal with the whole abortion thing, I just didn’t,” Cardi B replied.

“The regret of it probably?” he pressed.

“Yeah I don’t know,” she said, “I just didn’t want to and it’s just like, you know what, I'm a grown woman. I'm 25-years-old. I'm gonna say this in the most humblest way: I'm a shmillionaire, you know what I’m saying? And I'm prepared for this."

Cardi then expressed frustration at people on the internet, and those close to her, who questioned her decision to become a mother.

"It just really bothers me and disgusts me because I see a lot of women online like, 'Oh, I feel sorry for you. Oh, your career is over,'” she said. “And it's like, why can't I have both? As a woman, why can't I have both? Why do I gotta choose a career or a baby? I want both."

“Like a lot of people around me was concerned like I don’t think it can happen this never really happens,” she added, “and it’s like I don’t want to wait till I’m thirty something to have a kid like I want my kid now. I want my kid now that I have energy and stuff.”

Cardi is known for her blunt and often comic interviews. She received a lot of attention on Twitter last month for wading into tax policy by demanding to know what the government was doing with the 40 percent of her income they take in taxes (explicit video):

She also recently told GQ about her passion for political science and her love for FDR.
