Super Tuesday: Romney Wins Vermont

Although a low turnout has given Ron Paul a good showing so far, Mitt Romney is projected to win Vermont pretty handily. It's no surprise - the state is next to Romney's home state of Massachusetts and home to moderate-leaning Republicans.

Vermont is a winner-take-all state if the winner can crack 50% of the vote. But because it looks like Romney won't hit that number, it'll be divided out proportionally. Romney will take the majority of delegates and Paul will peel off a few. The New York Times' FiveThirtyEight projected that Romney will walk away with eleven of the seventeen delegates at stake.

This will stay developing, but the main headline is in: Romney has won Vermont.
