Al Qaeda Confirms bin Laden's Death

Al Qaeda has confirmed the death of Osama bin Laden. US terror monitoring group SITE reported that the terrorist organization had communicated on various terror network websites that their leader was killed by the United States in a raid on Sunday.

While the terror organization has no official "successor" to bin Laden, they vowed to continue attacks on the United States, saying that bin Laden's death "will not be wasted."

They also pleaded with Muslims in Pakistan to take the assault on bin Laden's compound as an outrage, writing "we call upon our Muslim people in Pakistan, on whose land Sheikh Osama was killed, to rise up and revolt to cleanse this shame that has been attached to them by a clique of traitors and thieves."

Many conspiracy theories arose following the Sunday death of Osama bin Laden. The confirmation from al Qaeda should put everything to rest.
