Stimulating!

Here in DC, we have signs put up by the local city government that are usually a little more "helpful" than Obama's stimulus signs. They list what the construction project is and how much it costs, both to the DC city government and to the federal Department of Transportation. That's right: it's a $5.5 million dollar project for a "streetlight and street scape." I didn't see much "street scape" construction going on, so I'm just going to assume that's over $5 million of U.S. taxpayer money going to replace some light bulbs. I didn't know those new "green" light bulbs cost so much! Oh, and the District of Columbia had the good sense just to leave their amount of money contributed blank, rather than cop up to a big fat "$0" beneath their name.
