Presidential Tax Return Released

Yesterday, President Barack Obama released his tax return. The Obamas made more than $5.5 million last year, as Nicole Russell says, mostly due to book sales.

He gave away 6% of his gross income to charity, drastically up from his state senator days when he gave less than 1% of his income to charity. On average, charitable Americans give 3.5% of their income.

Obama also gave away his $1.4 million Nobel Prize cash to charity.
