ICYMI: Border Patrol Chief Fights Back Against Democrat Smears About "Toilet Water"

Last week a delegation of congressional Democrats went to Texas in order to "investigate" the conditions of Border Patrol detention shelters. After a tour, smears from Democrats continued and they accused agents of forcing women to drink "toilet water." This of course was a lie.

Agents are tired of the false, damaging accusations and they're fighting back.

Late last week Tucson Sector Chief Border Patrol Agent Roy Villareal gave a virtual tour of facilities in Arizona.

"This is a supply room that is typical in everyone of the stations in Tucson sector. What we have supplies of are diapers, baby wipes. clothing for children marked by gender, age. Clothing for men and woman. We've got supplies, these are feminine hygiene products that are readily available for any of the detainees," Villareal said. "What's here in front of me is a supply cart that is available to families and unaccompanied children. It includes baby formula, crackers, raisins, tuna fish, mylar blankets. One of the other aspects, there's a lot of misinformation that we aren't allowing people to brush their teeth. This is a toothbrush that is pre-loaded with toothpaste and it's provided to everyone and readily available should they want more than one."

"Now lets look at the biggest misinformation. Aliens are not forced to drink out of the toilet, they have options. There is fresh water provided on a regular basis in a water cooler. There is also water that is provided in a combination of a toilet and sink. The sink provides fresh water...There's nothing wrong with this water," he said as he took a drink from the sink. "We're not forcing aliens to drink out of the toilet."

Congress is back in session this week after a break for Independence Day. There are still no plans from Democrats about how to stop the current crisis.

In the meantime, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is doubling down on her false claims of forced toilet water drinking. You can read more about that here.
