Longtime Democrat, billionaire and potential "independent" presidential candidate Howard Schultz has somehow been able to enrage the left more than President Trump this week.

First, he got heckled at a book event in New York City.

"Don't help elect Trump you egotistical, billionaire, a**hole," a protestor yelled from the back of the room.

Schultz potentially helping Trump win a second term as a result of a third party run isn't the only reason why leftists, who have taken over the Democrat party, are frothing at the mouth over his potential candidacy. They're melting down because he's blowing up bogus narratives about socialism and government spending.

His first crime was being honest about socialist medicine and calling Kamala Harris' desire to whipe out the private health insurance industry anti-American.

Next, he's going after the left's latest darlings by destroying their calls for taxes on the rich (which ultimately leads to taxes on everyone when squeezing the rich isn't enough).

Howard Schultz, the former CEO of Starbucks who is weighing whether to mount a presidential bid in 2020 as a "centrist independent," took a jab at the health-care and tax policies of three of the Democratic Party's most ambitious progressive leaders — Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) — during his media blitz early this week.

In an interview Tuesday on NPR's "Morning Edition," Schultz, the billionaire businessman who grew up in the Bayview Housing projects in the New York's Brooklyn borough, argued that Warren's plan to impose a two percent tax on Americans with more than $50 million in assets and a three percent tax on those with more than $1 billion in assets was "ridiculous." He accused the Massachusetts Democrat of crafting the economic proposal to get a "good headline," adding that "she knows for a fact it's not ever going to be passed."

While he isn't a fan of President Trump, Schultz has been rightly slaying leftist unicorn speak. Let's hope he continues to do so.
