Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a response to President Trump's official recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capitol city Wednesday afternoon.
"Thank you for today's historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. The Jewish people and the Jewish state will be forever grateful," Netanyahu said. "We're profoundly grateful for @POTUS for his courageous and just decision."
"Israel will always ensure freedom of worship for Jews, Christians and Muslims alike," he continued.
