Former NYT Reporter Shames White House: 11-Year-Old Frank Mowing the Rose Garden Was Dangerous Child Labor

Last week 11-year-old Frank"FX" Giaccio got the thrill of a lifetime.

Over the summer Frank wrote a letter to President Trump and said it would be his honor to do yard work for him at the White House. The President obliged and last week Frank was out with a lawn mower taking care of the Rose Garden.

But even an American moment like this couldn't come without critics. Former New York Times labor reporter Steve Greenhouse, who worked at the paper for three decades, is equating Frank's voluntary and supervised help with dangerous child labor.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely why Trump won.

It should be noted that when he isn't trimming the grass in the Rose Garden, 11-year-old Frank uses a power mower for work on his own landscaping business. He plans on becoming a Navy SEAL.
