-Polar Bears will drown Because of Hurricane Irene
-This is clearly global warming, despite the Great 1983 Hurricane occuring just after the global cooling movement
-Blame Bush, it worked for Hurricane Katrina
-More "investment" in infrastructure is needed
-Windmills will prevent future Irenes from occuring
-All things named Irene should be banned
-This is clearly a result of Global Warming/Climate Change/Global Climate Disruption
-We must ban hurricanes
-We must thank Hurricane Irene for breaking everything so we can spend millions of dollars we don't have to stimulate the economy
-Hurricane Irene was really violent, but not as violent or as dangerous as the tea party
-It's okay, the electricity went out and my solar power kicked in...well not really, because it was cloudy and raining a lot, felt more like North Korea at the time quite frankly
-We just need to treat Mother Nature like we want to be treated

-It's not fair Irene is bigger and has more force than other hurricanes

-It's not fair only the East Coast gets a hurricane, we must mandate a hurricane hit the West Coast as well

I don't know about you, but I'm with these guys. And yes, this video pokes fun at both sides of the aisle on the issue of Mother Earth. (caution: extremely strong language)

Oh and look, McKibben was part of the crowd arrested outside the White House this week and was palling around with the "I live on other planets," lady, which I posted about earlier today.
That’s why more than 300 of us have been arrested outside the White House in the last week, the largest civil disobedience demonstration in a generation for the environmental movement. They’re trying to get the president to see the danger of climate change. Irene will be a distraction in the short run from our efforts, but in the long run it underlines what the fight is all about. If the president goes for business as usual, we’re going to get planet weird.
