Rep. Chaffetz Grills ATF Agent on Fast and Furious

Earlier today on Capitol Hill, during the third hearing about Operation Fast and Furious, Rep. Jason Chaffetz grilled Former ATF Special Agent in Charge William Newell, who gave non-answers throughout the entire hearing about actions of ATF during the operation and refused to admit the operation was a bad idea. Newell also claimed that Operation Fast and Furious was not designed to let guns walk into Mexico. Testimony given by other ATF agents shows otherwise.

"Allowing loads of weapons that we knew to be destined for criminals, this was the plan. It was so mandated.” –Special Agent John Dodson ATF Phoenix Field Division June 15, 2011

"No doubt weapons were going to criminal organizations as early as 2009." -ATF Team Leader Lorren Leadmon  July 26, 2011

Newell also refused to say he wouldn't do a program like Operation Fast and Furious again.

It is well worth your time to watch.
