Dems to Push DREAM Act in Lame Duck, Possibly This Week

President Obama is now calling the DREAM Act a "down payment" for "comprehensive immigration reform."

This is code for: the DREAM Act is the first step to amnesty for all illegal immigrants already here, not just for the ones who came as children with their illegal parents.

President Obama has been working closely with open-border advocates Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.Y.), Reps. Nydia Velazquez (D-N.Y.) and Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) on a strategy to push the bill through before the lame duck session ends. A vote in the House on this issue could come as early as this week.
