Eric Holder is Politicizing the Issue

Over the weekend Attorney General Eric Holder appeared on CBS "Face the Nation," and said he was concerned about the politicizing of the location where 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shiekh Mohammed's trial will take place; at Guantanamo Bay in a military tribunal or in New York City civil court. I would like to point out that the Obama Administration and the Attorney General himself were the ones who decided to change both the location and type of trial KSM would receive. His trial was originally planned to take place in a military tribunal, and the change to civil court stirred up debate over the issue between Republicans, Democrats and the American people in the first place. The majority of Americans believe KSM should be tried in a military tribunal and an overwhelming majority of New Yorkers believe the same thing.

If the issue is being "politicized" as Holder claims, he should take a good look in the mirror to find out who is responsible for that policization, and if he is still confused, a short walk to the Oval Office will give him the correct answer.
