President Donald Trump met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil el-Sisi on Monday to discuss solutions in the Middle East and support the crucial alliance.

"I just want to let everybody know in case there was any doubt that we are very much behind President Sisi. He’s done a fantastic job in a very difficult situation. We are very much behind Egypt and the people of Egypt," President Trump told the press in the Oval Office, meeting with the Egyptian leader.
"Your excellency, very strongly, and very openly, you will find Egypt and myself always beside you," el-Sisi told President Trump.
