President Trump: We Should Start Immediate Investigation of Schumer/Russia Connection!

President Donald Trump turned the tables on Senate Democrats Friday, posting a picture of Minority Leader Chuck Shumer cozied up to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a trip to New York City.

The picture from 2003 shows Shumer and the Russian envoy enjoying Kirspy Kreme donuts and coffee together.

“When I showed the president of Russia a Krispy Kreme doughnut and he ate it and said it was good, that was one of the more surreal moments I’ve had in politics," Schumer said gleefully at the time.

“The fact that it’s the last administration that had the most disturbing ties to Russia – that’s what the newspapers should be reporting,” Dr. Sebastian Gorka, a deputy advisor to President Trump, said about the Obama administration.
