Yemeni officials cite the January 29 operation that left one Navy SEAL dead, several wounded, and a V-22 Osprey destroyed.

Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, Yemen’s ambassador to the United States, said that President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi was concerned with the lack of cooperation with the Yemeni government.

“Yemen’s government is a key partner in the war against terrorism,” Mr. Mubarak said, adding that Yemen’s cooperation should not come “at the expense of the Yemeni citizens and the country’s sovereignty.”
