Lewandowski: Trump's Already Done More to Help America Than Obama Has

The former CNN contributor and campaign manager for President-elect Donald Trump had some tough words for Barack Obama on Tuesday night.

"Donald Trump, in the first four weeks of his presidency, has done more to help this country than I think Barack Obama has done in the last 4 years,” Corey Lewandowski said during an interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity.

"Now I know that's a strong statement," Lewandowski added. "But what we see is a commitment to our military again, a commitment to our businesses, to reduce to amount of government regulations so they can continue to grow and grow our economy. Not at 1 percent or 2 percent, but at 4 percent, 5 percent."

“Look. His presidency is summed up in two words,” Lewandowski concluded, “'America first.' I love it.”

Lewandowski is expected to take a position with the Trump administration.

On Tuesday, President-elect Trump announced that Japan's SoftBank had agreed to invest $50 billion in the United States and create 50,000 more jobs for Americans. He announced the deal after meeting with SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, a Japanese billionaire and technology investor.
