In a network sponsored campaign against Republican nominee Donald Trump, liberal elitist Kerry Washington attacked Trump and his campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, during an appearance on HBO’s "Real Time," saying that voting for Trump was basically un-American.
“I think if we really look at policy, voting for Trump is voting against our best interests as Americans, as workers, as people of color, as women,” Washington said when asked about Hillary Clinton's enthusiasm gap. “Not voting is voting against ourselves… and I think, in this election, voting for a third-party candidate is voting against ourselves.”
She also warned voters about being distracted by privately successful women such as Kellyanne Conway and Ivanka Trump.
“I think it’s important that we not be distracted by these very smart, very articulate, beautiful women who work in the Trump campaign... and we need to be not swayed by that because they will not have their finger on the button, he will.”
