Joy Behar Is So Confident Joe Biden Can Beat Trump, He Could Win Being 'Locked in a Trunk'

"The View" host Joy Behar claimed during Friday's episode that since President Trump is such a "bad" opponent, former Vice President Joe Bide would win if he was locked away in a trunk.

The panel was discussing how Biden is at a disadvantage because of the ongoing Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and how everyone is more focused on the crisis than his campaign.

"So do you think this is going to be an issue for him? Does he need to compete with the virus stuff that you-know-who is talking about? Joy?" host Whoopi Goldberg asked.

"Well, I thought you were going to say 'with the virus named Donald Trump.' That was weird. But, you know, I’m thinking it’s very hard for Joe Biden right now because you have these daily briefings, also known as rallies, that Trump is holding every afternoon for hours. I mean, he just bloviates on and on and on. I would rather just listen to the doctors at that time so that I can rest in peace. But the truth of the matter is that even if Joe Biden was locked in a trunk in a basement in the middle of the Canary Islands, he would still win this election," Behar said.

"That’s how bad his opponent is. So I’m not worried about it that much, because everybody knows Joe Biden. It’s like having a relative that you haven’t seen for a while, but you know he’s great. He comes back, and you say, 'Okay. Good. Come sit with us. We want you back.' I think that’s what really is going on," she added.

As I previously wrote, while Biden is no longer forced to go out and travel all over the country, he should be more rested and ready to handle the upcoming debates with Trump. However, he has shown to be having trouble remembering his basic talking points, something that Trump will be more than willing to exploit during the one-on-one debates.
