Liberals in Hollywood have a compulsion to ruin anything good and virtuous. It’s an innate desire that they seem completely unable to shake. The latest case of this can be seen in the casting choices for Christopher Nolan’s rendition of The Odyssey.
THE ODYSSEY by Christopher Nolan to have Lupita Nyong’o playing Helen of Troy and Elliot Page playing Achilles.

Elliot Page, more widely known as Ellen Page before she suddenly believed that she was actually a man, will take a starring role of Achilles (you know, one of the most revered warriors in the European mythos) in the film. There are a few other notably odd casting choices as well, like Zendaya being slated to play Athena. Matt Damon will play Odysseus, which I would imagine really only becomes acceptable towards the end of the story. It’ll certainly be a jarring juxtaposition to have Page and Damon on the screen at the same time nonetheless.
Of course, reactions to the news of the cast have been pretty abysmal.
You might say casting a 5'1", 105 pound girl pretending to be a boy as one of the mightiest warriors in Greek lore is going to be this film's Achilles' Heel https://t.co/Uizkcjg9bL

If Elliot Page is playing Achilles, this will be the biggest bomb of Christopher Nolan’s career. It’ll be meme’d to death before it ever comes out. You can’t go from Brad Pitt as Achilles to a confused woman and expect an audience to take it seriously. https://t.co/90o9zpNrDN

When they make a movie about any other culture all the characters have to be accurate or the movie is racist

But for European culture, a black and a troon can be greek figures and if you don’t like it, you’re racist https://t.co/8bkJaPw8xe

Maybe the plot twist is that the audience died and is watching this in hell https://t.co/oGdf4PqcD6

Destruction of history, culture, and strong men is par for the course from Hollywood. For a recent example, look at Ridley Scott’s spin on Napoleon Bonaparte, who he paints as an effeminate cuckold who is only beholden to an unrequited love interest.
It’s time for Hollywood to get back to making movies like Zulu and Lawrence of Arabia.
