Apolitical Muslim Group Launches Video To Combat Anti-Muslim Sentiment

The group that produced the video, "My Faith, My Voice," was led by David Hawa, a 37-year-old Muslim who was born in Washington and raised in Virginia, and claims no political affiliation. They say you should fear me, suspect me, hate me. But the truth is, I don't want to impose my faith on you. I don't want to take over this country. And I don't support terrorism in any form.
I'd point out that creating this video in direct response to anti-mosque outrage implies that opposing the mosque means that one is anti-Muslim. But it's still a good faith effort to reinforce a moderate message that we don't hear enough from the Muslim community.
