80% Move Back In With Mom And Dad After Graduation

According to a new survey, 80% of the young people who graduated college this year will move back in with their parents after they get their diplomas. That's a significant increase from 63% moving in with the parents after graduation in 2006. From the

...as another class of graduates — the 2010s — move into the job market, "the economy is still rough. … a good number are still searching" from the class of 2009, said Guy Davis, director of the career center at Towson University. He said only about 20 percent had jobs lined up at graduation, with "a fair number" looking at graduate school.
Twenty to 24-year-olds are also suffering from 14.7 percent unemployment, nearly 1.5 times higher than the national average.
