Study: Teenage Boys Eat A Lot

The most obvious line ever spoken by a scientist was said by Dr. Jack A. Yanovski, of the U.S. National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, when speaking about teenage boys' appetites:

Why, yes, Dr. Yanovski. Any parent of teenagers could tell you that. But it took "a lunch-buffet experiment involving 200 kids ages 8 to 17" and several researchers to prove it, finding that "boys in their mid-teens were the most ravenous of all -- downing an average of nearly 2,000 lunchtime calories."
