Britain Bans Doctor Who Linked Autism To Vaccines

British Dr. Andrew Wakefield was responsible for the main study that linked autism to vaccinations in 1998. Since then, vaccination rates have plummeted in Britain from 95% to 50%, and Britain has banned him from practicing medicine there. Here's Paul Offit, chief of infectious diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia:
That is Andrew Wakefield's legacy...The hospitalizations and deaths of children from measles who could have easily avoided the disease.
