Oil Show Pre-Game Starts Today

That means that the commonly-tossed-around figure of 5,000 gallons a day coming from the leak could be way, way off.

Obama is solving that problem by giving another press opp today, during which he will undoubtedly place the blame on Big Oil, rather than his own Interior Department. This press opp is is a few short days before Congressional hearings are scheduled to start, during which oil executives will get to be the subjects in a public relations whipping game perpetrated by Members of Congress. In other words, the oil-show pre-game starts today.
