Unions Inflate Giant Rat Directly in Front of Church

Local labor leaders targeted the St. Monica's Catholic Church New York City by inflating a gigantic 12-foot tall rat directly in front of the church's entrance. They were protesting the church's use of non-union painters to

Even agnostics didn't think it was right.

Originally, the union — the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades — said it was attacking the company hired to do the work. But then, according to the New York Post, the union's political director, attacked the church itself.

"The archdiocese is not interested in doing things the right way. We tried discussing it with them. They're digging in their heels and they want to do this wrong," said director Jack Kittle.
