UPDATE: Boehner only read portions of the bill, which took him a little over an hour. Some Republicans were disappointed; Boehner had said he would read the whole thing, but ended up skipping passages that were less interesting, and only reading the ones his staff had highlighted. It was a good faith effort, though, that did draw attention to the fact that nobody had actually read what was being rammed through...
