Specter Switching On Card Check Yet Again?

The badly-named People's Weekly World claims Arlen Specter may now support card check. After he opposed it. After he supported it.

Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa), chief sheepherder for the Employee Free Choice Act, "confirmed, early this morning, that 'Senator Specter’s staff and my staff have been working diligently over the last several days to get everything ready.'" In other words, Harkin is reportedly working with Specter to get him to come back around.

Harkin's spokesperson denied altering the bill in any significant way to get Specter on  board, saying there would be “no compromise on any of the core principles." So Harkin isn't changing any of the controversial stuff in the bill while working to get Specter on board.

Maybe if Specter comes out in favor of card check, he'll  become a Republican again!
