Newt Gingrich Explains His Past Affairs

Newt Gingrich's explanation for his two divorces and extramarital 'activities'-working too hard. Seriously:

"There's no question at times of my life, partially driven by how passionately I felt about this country, that I worked far too hard and things happened in my life that were not appropriate," Gingrich said.

If this isn't gearing up for a presidential bid, I don't know what is. But is a man with two extramarital affairs a viable candidate? What do you think-will it be harder for him to explain that, or this commercial?
