Sickening: 'Newcomer' Illegal Immigrant Arrested in Florida for Heinous Crime

AP Photo/Matt Rourke

The consequences of President Biden's border crisis continue to harm innocent people.  Among the millions of illegal immigrants who've flooded into the United States on his watch (the approximately ten million illegal crossings since January 2021 include both recorded encounters and known 'got-aways') are some very dangerous, ill-intentioned people.  This is not a reason to demonize all immigrants, of course, but it is a very good reason to prevent illegal immigration.  Every single violent crime committed by someone who has no right to be in the country in the first place should be considered avoidable and therefore particularly outrageous.  It is neither 'racist' nor 'xenophobic' to understand this. A new development out of Florida involves the arrest of a relatively newly-arrived illegal immigrant for a terrible crime he allegedly committed against a young girl.

This is a sickening outcome of Biden's open borders policies, and should never have happened:

A twenty-year-old illegal migrant has been arrested after allegedly kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl outside her Florida home. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office identified Marvin Dionel Perez Lopez as the girl's attacker, claiming he forced her into his white van where the alleged sexual assault took place...The mother caught a glimpse of her daughter and the suspect in the van and began banging on the door, shouting at him to free the girl, according to an arrest report. Sherriff's deputies said Lopez fled from the van at that point. The victim's mother then stopped by Lopez's apartment where his brother also lived. Lopez's brother got him to come home where the mother confronted him. After listening to Lopez's pleas for forgiveness, the victim's mother called 911...Investigators on the scene interviewed the victim who told them that Lopez forced himself on her even after she tried to refuse and get away. At the same time, Lopez again tried to flee, this time through a back window of his apartment. Police noticed Lopez doing this and chased after him...Lopez is from Guatemala and left the Central American country sometime in January, according to local station WPTV. When he crossed [from] Mexico, he reportedly surrendered to border patrol and was given a court date in 2027, after which he was released.

He reportedly left his Central American home country earlier this year, then waltzed into the United States, surrendered, and was promptly released into the country -- pending a court date years from now.  This is Biden policy.  The man then made his way to Florida, where he allegedly kidnapped a middle school-aged child and sexually assaulted her in a van.  It's unlikely that Biden will have anything to say about this episode at all, considering that he had to be heckled into mentioning the murder of Laken Riley (whose name he got wrong) allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant his administration paroled into the US.  It's quite possible that the Biden administration would refer to this accused child rapist as a "newcomer."  The president will certainly not, however, refer to him as "illegal," having already apologized for using that term in reference to the man charged with Riley's brutal killing.  He prostrated himself on MSNBC for forgiveness, vowing never to be 'disrespectful' to people like the alleged murderer because illegal immigrants "built the country." No wonder they're so brazen.  They have an ally and enabler in the Oval Office:

Meanwhile, the massive influx of Chinese nationals across the southern border continues apace:

One wonders how many more known criminals and potential terrorists would have slipped into the country if the state of Texas wasn't doing its level best to hold the line, over the objections and lawsuits of the pro-illegal immigration Biden administration:

I'll leave you with this: Remember the violent riot of illegal immigrants at the border back in March, in which some were caught on camera assaulting Texas law enforcement officers while trying to barge into the country?  (This is different, mind you, from the violent pack of illegal immigrants who attacked NYPD officers in Times Square).  As of last week, one of the alleged instigators of that criminal melee who'd been released into the country was still at large.  As he might say, "I love you, Joe Biden!"
